Dr. P. W??hrle
Dr. W??hrle graduated ǃ?cum laudeǃ? from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he was the recipient of the Norman B. Nesbett award for clinical excellence. Dr. W??hrle also received specialty certificates in prosthodontics and implant dentistry. In addition, he holds a Master of Medical Science degree in Oral Biology from Harvard University and received the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award. In Germany, Dr. W??hrle received his B.A. degree and has been certified as a dental laboratory technician in Switzerland.
Dr. W??hrleǃÙs research interests focus on clinical research, particularly the prosthodontic aspects of implant dentistry. While at Harvard, he participated in dental implant clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health. As part of his MasterǃÙs thesis he helped to develop new research protocols capable of differentiating between implant systems. He was also active in teaching implant dentistry to dental students and to dentists participating in the Harvard Continuing Education Seminars on Implant Dentistry.
Dr. W??hrle limits his private practice to implant dentistry and prosthodontics in Newport Beach, California.
