University of Sheffield - School of Clinical Dentistry
The School of Clinical Dentistry of the University of Sheffield forms part of the Faculty of Medicine which has four Schools: Clinical Dentistry, Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Nursing and Midwifery and Health and Related Research.
The programmes at Sheffield are at the forefront of developments in dental education.
In a recent national teaching quality assessment exercise the Dental School at Sheffield was rated as 'Excellent' and awarded 23 out of 24 points and in the 2002 Research Assessment Exercise it was awarded the very high rating of 5.
The School achieved Investors in People recognition in 2001 and this was renewed in 2004.
Sheffield has a reputation for being a friendly school that is also well integrated with the associated Dental Hospital, Medical School, the University and the community.
