The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is committed to educating high quality oral health professionals and engaging in research and scholarly endeavors which promote oral health care for the people of Kentucky and the nation. Exciting things are happening at the U of L School of Dentistry, we are constantly transforming our school to meet the changing role and scope of dentistry. As we prepare the dentists of tomorrow, weÇƒÙre equipping them with the scientific training, thorough knowledge of cuttingÇƒÏedge technology, and the vision that will help meet future oral health needs.
The main objective of the summer research program is to give dental students the opportunity to carry out a research project during the summer or other periods where their clinical and academic responsibilities will allow. Within the limits of available funding and available time, we will try to accommodate any student who wishes to do a research project.
