Special note Session I of an 11 part series. The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry will award a Certificate upon the successful completion of this 11 session Comprehensive Program in the Placement and Restoration of Implants.
Synopsis This evening course has been designed to provide participants with an introduction to implant placement and implant prosthetics. It will serve as a foundation for further training.
Preliminary program Topics will include:
* History - understanding the many factors that must be evaluated to make dental implants routinely successful
* Treatment indications in the context of alternate modalities
* How to appropriately treatment plan
* Patient selection - when to treat and not to treat with dental implants
* Radiographic imaging
* Occlusal and Diagnostic Cast Analysis
* Comprehensive case presentation to achieve optimal case acceptance
