Foreword

Dentures are poor replacements for natural teeth. Someone with an artificial arm can not expect to play a stringed instrument like the violin or guitar. Likewise, those with full dentures may have trouble eating some foods. Speaking normally may be difficult at first. New dentures require adjustments to improve the fit at first and subsequently. There are many options for adhesives and cleansers. Patients often request this information, but many patients do not know what to expect or what questions to ask.
