Synopsis This presentation will examine the artistic and esthetic principles of smile design and reconstruction, and their relationship to the biologic and scientific principles of dental and implant reconstruction. A series of case presentations will be used to demonstrate the criteria used to select specific treatment modalities to fulfil our patientsÌ needs. Treatment modalities evaluated will include conventional metal ceramic crowns and bridges, all ceramic veneers, crowns and bridges, and implant-supported prostheses. Case presentations will range from single tooth restorations to full mouth rehabilitations. In the realm of implant dentistry, special attention will be given to new techniques including grafting, single stage and immediate implant placement and immediate implant loading and immediate restorations.
