A recent study finds dental amalgam fillings - which contains mercury- appear to have no effect on childhood brain development. Some pediatricians have expressed concern over the fillingsĖ safety.
Researchers say the study, which followed more than 500 children for about seven years, didn't find any neurological differences between children who'd had silver amalgam fillings and those who received resin-based fillings.
