Dr. David P. Sarment is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He graduated from the University of Paris School of Dentistry, France. He then obtained his certificates in Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis as well as a Master of Science at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Dr. SarmentĚs research interests have mostly been in the field of implantology, working on precise implant placement methods and advanced diagnostic tools. He teaches dental students, residents in Periodontics and Prosthodontics as well as dental hygienists. He also maintains a private practice limited to Periodontics and Periodontal Prosthesis. Dr. Sarment is the author and co-author of multiple scientific articles and book chapters. His lectures focus on diagnosis and treatment planning for dental implants, as well as precision tools for improved placement.
