We will begin with an extensive discussion of the principles of treatment planning for implant dentistry, clarifying controversial issues and dividing fact from fiction in the implant literature. With these principles understood, you will gain new confidence in prosthetic treatment planning. We will scrutinize various treatment options, from fixed detachable and bar overdentrue prostheses to single tooth implants, and beyond. Many of these core principles can be applied to routine restorative dentistry.
