The Br?ïnemark Novum protocol for immediate functional loading of a mandibular fixed implant-supported prosthesis has been an effective alternative for selected patients. In the event of the loss of an implant, a rescue set that allows continuous use of the original fixed restoration while restoring tripod osseointegrated support at the implant level is available.
