Collectively, we have all contributed to the health and growth of this society. The NESP is the largest component Periodontal Society within the national academy. Our meetings are well attended and our presenters are always world class. Our sponsors continue to support our society in growing numbers. Along with this growth and expansion, our officers and board members remain tuned in to the wants and needs of our membership. We have responded by addressing the directions that you have indicated we should be going. Further, we continue to invite and welcome graduate students from all programs within our constituency, as we view them as our future.
The purpose of this organization is to "Promote scientific research in, to disseminate information regarding, and to provide a forum for education regarding the art and science of Periodontics." The sphere of activity shall primarily encompass the Northeastern area of the country.
