Nobel Biocare, the world leader in innovative esthetic dental solutions, is introducing personalized esthetic Procera¨? Abutment Zirconia and Procera¨? Implant Bridge for other implant systems including Straumann¨?, 3i¨?, Zimmer¨? Dental and Lifecore¨?. This new offer and other recently announced new concepts and solutions will be presented at the major European dental implant congress EAO (European Academy of Osseointegration) in Paris that starts today.
Today's patients often have very high esthetic demands on their dental treatments driven by social emphasis on esthetics. Patients do not only expect to have their function restored, they demand beautiful new teeth and request individualized beauty.

However, the long-term esthetic outcome offered by the products of many dental implant manufacturers is provenly not satisfactory. Thanks to Nobel Biocare's Procera¨? solutions, implant patients can be given beautiful personalized new teeth with long-term esthetics.

Procera is a unique industrialized process for individually designed crowns, bridges, laminates and abutments with more than five million fabricated units and over ten years experience on the market. The esthetic advantages of Procera have made it possible for Nobel Biocare to develop NobelEsthetics(TM), a complete esthetic solution concept, suitable for both natural and implant-secured teeth.

So far, the Procera Abutment and Procera Implant Bridge for implant-secured teeth have been used primarily for Nobel Biocare's Replace¨? Select and Br?ïnemark System¨? brands.

Nobel Biocare is now extending its Procera offer to also include abutments and bridges for Straumann¨?, 3i¨?, Zimmer¨? Dental and Lifecore¨? implants, thereby making it possible for the users of those systems to provide their patients with the requested excellent esthetics by using individualized prosthetics. The final esthetic outcome is achieved with the Procera Crown and the new porcelain NobelRondo.

Procera personalized prosthetics include Procera Abutment Zirconia, the only completely ceramic abutment in the market, and Procera Abutment Titanium, as well
as the Procera Implant Bridge. The bridge is milled from a solid piece of biocompatible titanium that has provably the best precision-fit in the market (<20 microns). The predictable, high-precision fit of the bridge significantly facilitates treatment for the dentist and the dental technician.

The functionality of the Procera implant components is verified in a study performed by the University of Michigan, USA.

A new Ceramic Center was recently opened in Stockholm, Sweden, to support Nobel Biocare's research, training activities and production of ceramic dental solutions.
