Iowa Dental Association Annual Session - May 7-9, 2005 - Cedar Rapids, IA

The 2005 annual session theme is carried out in a variety of ways:
The meeting will be held in Cedar Rapids

Dental staff (including assistants, hygienists, office staff, etc.) MUST be registered to attend the meeting. There is no fee for staff to pre-register; a $75.00 fee to those who register on site. Pre-registration deadline is April 22.

Dentists are encouraged to pre-register to save money. Pre-registration fee is $50.00. On-site registration is $150.00. Pre-registration deadline is April 22.

Preview materials mailed to dentists include pre-registration materials for dentists AND staff. Be sure to share preview materials with your staff!

Special "2005 Dental Reception/Silent Auction" will be held on the exhibit floor on Saturday, May 7, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. See a listing below of some of the items already donated. Plan to attend!

Dr. Bruce Cochrane, Program Chair, has finalized arrangements for the scientific programs and lectures for the 2005 Annual Session. The complete program with topics and speakers is listed below. The goal is to get a substantial look at implant dentistry and how it helps patients in the area of both fixed and removable prosthetics. Other topics to be addressed include oral medicine and contemporary and regenerative periodontics. Dr. Gordon Christensen will also be speaking on Monday explaining how to improve your practice's bottom line.
Table Clinics will be presented on the exhibit floor on Saturday, May 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. An application form to present a table clinic is included in pre-registration materials or you may call the IDA office to request a form. Deadline is April 1, 2005.
PLEASE NOTE: Opening Session will start at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Mayor Paul Pate will be on hand to welcome the dental team to Cedar Rapids. Keynote speaker is former University of Iowa wrestling coach and Olympic Gold Medalist, Dan Gable. Plan to attend!
