Intra-Lock's MDL Mini Implant System offers a number of advanced features that are well worth considering. The implant itself was designed and engineered as a miniature implant with a collar and a progressively acid etched surface finish. It features an O-ball head for overdentures or can be fitted with and abutment which is excellent for the fabrication of provisional bridges. The implant is available in 2.0mm and 2.5mm diameters. The 2.5 diameter implant also features a modified thread designed for cases with compromised bone. The implant profile and penetrating tip make insertion easier and create a solid, wedging interface with bone for maximum stability. All Intra-Lock implants feature Drive-Lock? delivery technology ( Patent7,033,174 ). This delivery system allows the implant to be taken out of its sterile package, delivered to the implant site and threaded into place in one fluid motion.
