Synopsis As the demand for dental implants continues to
rise so do the demands placed on clinicians to
provide predictable implant treatment in
increasingly challenging clinical situations. New
innovations in implant design and clinical techniques
will assist us in being able to manage
these more clinically demanding cases.
This 2-day intermediate level program is
designed for experienced implant practitioners
with previous surgical experience in implant
dentistry. Previous attendance at an introductory
surgical course is required and a strong
implant surgical experience is a pre- requisite.
This course will focus on dental implants in the
aesthetic zone, multiple units, full arch cases,
advanced grafting procedures including implant
site development, ridge augmentation and sinus
elevation procedures. Immediate implant placement
into extraction sites and surgical techniques
for hard and soft tissue management will
be demonstrated. In addition, participants will
be provided with detailed instruction on the
placement of new NobelPerfectTM &
NobelDirectTM implants and immediate function
on single tooth implants.
Attendees are asked to bring cases for discussion
and treatment planning. A brief patient history,
panoramic and periapical radiographs,
study models and provisional treatment plan
will be required and discussed with the group.
Preliminary program - Participants will perform hands-on exercises on pig
jaws including flap design, harvesting connective
tissues graft, augmentation and suturing techniques.
- Surgical placement of NobelDirectTM implant into pig
jaws.
- Live surgical demonstration of implant placement and
guided bone regeneration.
- Hands-on placement of NobelPerfectTM implant into
anatomical model.
- Interactive treatment planning and discussion session
of your cases ( please bring OPG, periapical xrays and
study models of case to the course)
