Mission Statement of the HKDA
1. To represent the dental profession of the HKSAR in the formulation of dental policy.
2. To represent the dental profession of the HKSAR in international and mainland dental organizations as a regional dental association.
3. To set the standard of ethics of the profession and review legislation in relation to dentistry in the HKSAR.
4. To set up and maintain high standard of patient care in private dental practice.
5. To promote oral health education and improve dental awareness of the public.
6. To promote continuous dental professional development amongst members.
7. To support and facilitate members in practising dentistry in the HKSAR.
8. To promote fraternity among members of the association.
