German Association of Dental Students
The dental student exchange service (ZAD) was founded in 1981 and has been run by students ever since. The head office of our association is seated in Bonn. All administrative work is done there by our colleague Doris Bungartz. In addition there are local exchange officers (leo) at nearly every German university with a dental department, who help students from abroad to find their way around.
We help young German dental students to spend some professional time abroad and advise them how to go about planning and realizing their stay. We also help foreign students to spend time at a German university. In cooperation with our partners we offer students the chance to gather some practical experience in international dental help projects as well as experiencing dentistry at foreign faculties.
