Eastern Dental Society
Dear Friend,
We are beginning our 99th year of camaraderie and education as one of the oldest dental societies in the region. We have some wonderful events planned for the next year, and I hope that all of our members will take advantage of the tremendous opportunities our society has always provided.
Our next <Dine-Around> will be Wednesday, March 28th, and will feature Dr. Andrew Halbert who will be discussing the management of congenitally missing teeth. Dr. Halbert is a specialist in Periodontal-Prosthesis, and teaches at Albert Einstein Medical Center. The restaurant will be La Famiglia in Philadelphia.
Our second <all-day meeting> will be Friday May 18th in conjunction with the Northeast Philadelphia Dental Implant Study Club and will feature Dr. Will Martin, DMD, MS. He will discuss "Restoration Driven Implant Therapy: The 'TEAM' Approach". This presentation will emphasize communication between 'TEAM' members and the effect of communication on treatment outcomes.
Our <Spring Golf Outing> is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 8th and will be held at Woodcrest Country Club. Everyone had a fantastic time at the course last year, and we look forward to another great event this year! Look for more information to follow as we get closer to those dates.
Lastly, I would like to invite anyone who is interested in helping or planning these wonderful events to get involved and be active with our board. You will find the time spent to be fun and rewarding.
