Dyna Dental Engineering BV was founded in 1984 and well known for the development of new products and for their innovative approach to the introduction of existing products into dentistry.
We started off as a dental trade and manufacturing company with the introduction of our magnetic denture retention system, the DYNA SYSTEM. This system was specially developed to support dental prostheses on roots and implants. Because of this product, DYNA Dental Engineering has become the market leader in the application of strong permanent mini-magnets in dentistry.
In 1986 our CEO, Mr. Guido Houg, decided to transform the company from a dental trade company to real engineering, with products under the name of DYNA. In that period our implant system was developed in co-operation with several universities. A push-in HA-coated implant was chosen, because of its simplicity and easy application procedure.
During the years, our company has developed several attachment groups for the DYNA IMPLANT DESIGN, using high-tech materials and manufacturing processes. The most amazing example is the DYNA MEMORY ABUTMENT introduced in 1992. In the beginning of 1997 we introduced our DYNA Implant philosophy, together with various redesigned abutments. Based on the latest research in implantology, DYNA offers several implant diameters for all kind of indicators like magnetic attachments, ball attachments and bar constructions for overdentures and several abutments for crown and bridge applications.
In 2000 the Dyna Octalock¨? Implant system was introduced. This system is designed specially for crown and bridge works and has an internal anti rotation octagon to obtain a perfect transfer from mouth to model and vice verse.
This system can also be applied for overdentures. Due to the use of the same abutment series on different implant diameters, this system is client friendly.
