The dental implant (1) has a main implant body (2) with a thread (10) for screwing into a jaw and a post (3) for holding of the replacement tooth. The longitudinal axis (6) of the post is angled opposite the longitudinal axis (4) of the implant. The implant body and post are formed as one single piece. The thread (10) is formed as a self-tapping expansive thread and the thread gap lies at between 0.2-2mm.
