The "Dental Technicians Association of Australian Queensland Branch Inc." is a professional association of dental technicians in Queensland, commonly referred to as "DTAAQ" which formed in 1958 as The Dental Technicians Association of Queensland "DTAQ."
Objectives
To advance and safeguard the interests of its members and the profession.
To unite all Dental Technicians in the interests of professional harmony.
To promote professional and ethical conduct between members.
To foster and assist in the study of dental technology by arranging or holding seminars or similar, or assisting or co-operating with other associations, whose objects are altogether or in part similar to those of this Association.
To affiliate with any national or international associations having similar objectives.
To assist and encourage the advancement of training conditions and standards.
To enter into any arrangements with a view to obtaining and rights, privileges and concessions which the Association may think it desirable to obtain.
To print and publish any newspapers, periodicals, journals, books or leaflets that the Association may think desirable for the maintenance and promotion of its objectives.
To encourage and foster the association's Code of Ethics.
