Colorado Dental Association 119th ANNUAL SESSION - June 23-26, 2005 - Steamboat Springs, CO
Welcome to the Colorado Dental AssociationǃÙs 119th Annual Session. This is a meeting that dentists,
families, staff and corporate exhibitors are going to love. We are excited about this yearǃÙs meeting for a
number of reasons. First of all, the meeting is located in Steamboat Springs, which is a fabulous
location to gather together to conduct the business of the CDA, but additionally it is a wonderful place for
families to vacation and enjoy.
With the expertise of Dr. Doug Heller, our meeting chair, we feel we have a very special meeting planned
for you. We have added an extra day to the meeting primarily because we have arranged for Dr. Gordon
Christensen to speak all day Thursday, June 23. This will provide you with an unusual opportunity to spend an
intimate session with Dr. Christensen in a small meeting environment. The focus of the planned clinical lectures
throughout the meeting will be on ǃ?Esthetic and Interdisciplinary Dentistry.ǃ? Our speakers will cover the foundation for sound clinical
dentistry, as well as the need for solid business planning, both personally and professionally. You also will not want to miss the ǃ?Great Loudini,ǃ? the dental magician.
Families are invited to attend the Immediate Past PresidentǃÙs Reception. Additionally, we are planning cooking classes, mountain hikes, bike rides, fly fishing, and of course, our golf tournament on SteamboatǃÙs 18-hole championship golf course.
For the first time, we have obtained a major corporate sponsor for our Annual Session. Wells Fargo Bank has partnered with the CDA to help underwrite the costs of our meeting. Additionally, Kerr Sybron Dental Specialties made arrangements with Sullivan-Schein to bring us Dr. Christensen. To these companies, as well as our other corporate exhibitors and donors, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for the continued support of our Annual Session and our profession. These are our partners in dentistry and
we are pleased that they are joining us for the meeting.
We look forward to seeing you at the CDA Annual Session for all of the business, education and recreational activities. In other words, BRING IT TO THE BOAT!
-Dr. Kenneth Versman, Colorado Dental Association
President
