This course will provide practitioners with a complete, interactive program for implant surgery. Participants will be instructed in effective treatment planning, patient communication, surgical protocols and prosthetic considerations. The speakers will focus on the benefits and clinical advantages of shorter implants. This course gives attendees the opportunity to observe live surgery, participate in hands-on exercises placing implants in jawbone models and learn
step by step restorative techniques.
Upon completion of this course, participants will understand:
How to effectively communicate with implant patients
The importance of restorative goals on surgical planning and implant placement
The scientific background of shorter implants and their application
The surgical steps required for implant placement with rotary instruments and osteotomes
Porous-surfaced implants and how they relate to the management of hard and soft tissue
The fundamental prosthetic options
