Cavex Holland BV in The Netherlands, saw first light as far back as 1908 and was initially destined to be a cocoa and chocolate factory. Through some strange twists of fate and under the influence of two pharmacists not a single bar of chocolate was ever produced but instead Cavex started selling anaesthetics for dental use.
