Special note Session IV of an 11 part series. The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry will award a Certificate upon the successful completion of this 11 session Comprehensive Program in the Placement and Restoration of Implants.
Synopsis It is the purpose of this module to familiarize the practitioner with the basic principles of bone grafting as they relate to site development in implant dentistry. By the end of this module the participant should know how to appropriately treatment plan a case for bone grafting and know which technique would best allow for optimal regeneration at a given implant site. They should also be comfortable understanding the surgical approaches to intraoral harvesting of bone and then the reconstruction of the various locations within the oral cavity. Live demonstrations will be interspersed throughout the course.
