For more than 70 years the dental resins have been used to manufacture dental prosthesis, and has through the world many millions of people wear it.
The dentists frequently observe various inflammations ; it is mainly due to the bacterial plaque on the cervical edges of the crowns or temporary or final bridge or due to the hard palate of the dental apparatuses (denture) even if it is polished. One aetiological factor thought to be the fungal infection by Candida species, the other factor could be the film of the oral bacteria, which forms on the surface of the prosthesis (denture).
