BIOLASE Technology, Inc. (BLTI) has been granted a new U.S. patent related to the core laser plus water technology that is central to current and future dental laser generations. Specifically, the coverage provides for use of electromagnetic energy (e.g. laser) with fluid (e.g. water) that has at least one output micropulse to allow the cutting of tissue. Additional claims included in the allowance cover specific lasers and tissues.
