A SISTEM FOR THE UNIVERSAL IDENTICATION OF OSSEOINTEGRATED DENTAL IMPLANTS. A PROPOSAL

The aim of this proposal is offering to either the dental profession;, dental institutions; patient wearing dental implants or thirds parts a system for identifying osseointegrated dental implants easy to use in both: dental clinics; pre-paid dental auditory services or as a trial for forensic issues and as a proof in a legal dispute. The system is based on the spatial position occupied by the implant in close relationship to the lost dental roots which they replaces and its background is borrowed from the Digit Two Dental Identification System a widespread universally dental identification system among the world dental profession. Changes in the edentulous alveolar ridge width; the implant placement is an angular position, the placement techniques indications of the different implant systems ; the advancement of the technical and scientific knowledge as well as the handicapping consequences of some radical therapies aimed as obtaining facial cosmetic results which includes osseointegrated dental implants placement ,has been considered in designing this implant identification system
