59th Indian Dental Conference - Jan. 27-30, 2006 - LUDHIANA

Come January and Dental Fraternity gets anxious to attend the annual feature of Indian Dental Conference. This time the opportunity to hold this prestigious event (59th IDC) has fallen in the lap of (Punjab) Ludhiana, the ancestral city of Lodhi Dynasty. The fertile soil of Punjab has the strength to feed the whole world. Punjab is not only famous in India but also in whole of the world for its traditional culture and warm hospitality.
Ludhiana-the heart of Punjab, with its industrial status in the country and abroad is also known as "Manchester of India". It is also an educational center of Punjab having two medical colleges (CMC & DMC) two Dental Colleges (CDC, BJS), Punjab Agricultural University, Engg. College Homeopathic Ayurvedic Colleges etc. Though it's a crowded city yet has a warm heart which pumps fresh blood of friendliness and brotherhood. Ludhiana being an ideal place for the conference as it is centrally located and easily accessible through rail & road. It lies on the Northern Railway Section and G.T. Road (National Highway no. 1) & it is a distance of 307 km from Delhi. It is 30" - 33' & 31"-1' North latitudes and 75"-25' and 76"-27' east longitudes.
During January normal temperature goes down to 100C. You are advised to bring your woollens.
The registration fee for the said conference is Rs. 2000/- (Reception Committee member) which is much less than what has been charged in the previous national conferences. This includes carnival, banquet in addition to lunches, along with continuous availability of tea/coffee.
