On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, it is indeed an honour and privilege to welcome you to the 27 th Asia Pacific Dental Congress and the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Asia Pacific Dental Federation / Asia Pacific Regional Organisation.
This congress will be held on the 25 - 29 May 2005 at Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur and the theme of this event will be Rediscover the Art of Comprehensive Oral Health Care. This congress offers an array of excellent scientific and educational programmes with well known speakers in the various field of specialty and also provides an avenue for delegates from different countries to exchange ideas, knowledge, information and experience. It will surely inform and update the dental profession on the recent advances in dentistry and to keep abreast with the latest developments and provide quality oral health care to the community.
The Dental Trade Exhibition which is an integral part of this congress will offer the state-of-the-art advances in dental technology. There will also be some social functions and recreational activities for delegates to unwind and post-congress tours that will make this congress a most memorable and enjoyable experience in the warm hospitality of the Malaysian people.
