Welcome to the 2005 Oklahoma Dental Association Annual Meeting!
Dear ODA Members,
Over the past years we have all talked about the future of the ODA. We have planned and prepared for a ǃ?new ODA,ǃ? an Association that, in the future, would be robust, modern, engaged, and forward-looking.
Fellow members, as I welcome you to this yearǃÙs Annual Meeting I can proudly say that the Future of the ODA is Now, and there is no better example of that fact than this yearǃÙs Annual Meeting.
In the future, the ODA leaders and members have envisioned an Annual Meeting that features internationally renowned clinicians presenting top-notch continuing education programs on the latest aspects of the science and art of dentistry. That Future is Now! This year, every single scientifi c session features the best Doctors this profession has to offer creating a slate of continuing education programs that sets a new bar for quality education at an ODA Annual Meeting.
In the future, when the ODA Annual Meeting is held in Oklahoma City, ODA members will be able to stop by the new ODA headquarters, a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of the medical and legislative center of the state capital. That Future is Now!
Join us at the ODA headquarters open house on Friday night of the annual meeting. The annual Related Organizations Reception will be part of this festive eventǃÓa night in which we will mark the beginning of the new home for organized dentistry in the state of Oklahoma.
In the future, the ODA Annual Meeting Exhibit Hall will be a spacious hall full of energy and excitement. Future ODA Exhibit Halls will feature open fl oor plans that feature the DENPAC Silent Auction in the middle along with numerous tables to stop and rest, have lunch, or visit with friends. That Future is Now! This yearǃÙs Exhibit Hall will be bigger and better than any that have come before.
I hope you are as excited about this yearǃÙs meeting as I am. The Future of the ODA is truly here and I hope that you will be with us to enjoy it. Also, be sure to get your ticket for the PresidentǃÙs Reception and Dinner. Entertainment will include Dr. Dan and the band Souled Out. I look forward to all of us taking a night to gather together and celebrate our profession, our friendship, our past, and our futureǃÓall of which is right now.
