Dysgeusia (Taste Disorder): Dysgeusia (Taste Disorder) is an abnormal or change of taste in the mouth. It does not go away. Some people who suffer from Dysgeusia (Taste Disorder) also have an altered sense of smell. In order for a doctor, dentist, dental surgeon or an ENT to treat the Dysgeusia (Taste Disorder), they must find the cause. Once the cause of the Dysgeusia (Taste Disorder) is determined there is a good chance it can be successfully treated. See your primary health care provider first before seeing your dentist.
