Dental Labs: Dental labs use impressions and molds of teeth and gums that are made by a dentist. These molds are used to create dentures, bridges, and dental implants that will be used to replace a person’s real teeth. Labs normally do not work directly with the patient but with the dentist to create artificial teeth that look real and fit the gums as perfectly as possible. The better the fit of dentures, the less trouble a patient may have with sore and bleeding gums.
